A new outdoor gym at Cranbrook Country Park will officially open on Sunday, June 1. The opening will be marked by a community celebration and the International Calisthenics Championship 2025.
The gym offers equipment suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.
The event will feature an official opening ceremony, live fitness demonstrations by professional calisthenics coaches, a community fitness workshop, and the international championship.
Councillor Les Bayliss, chairman of Cranbrook Town Council, praised the new facility. He said, “The Cranbrook Outdoor Gym is a fantastic addition to our town. We are proud to have created one of the best outdoor fitness spaces in the southwest.”
Bayliss added that the launch event will include professional calisthenics athletes to encourage the community to stay active and connect with each other.
Ben Rogers, head coach of Vigilantes Street Workout, shared the group’s mission. “Our vision is to bring together people of all skill levels who love calisthenics, whether they are beginners or have been training for years,” he said.
