Shah Rukh Khan surprised fans with his impressive fitness and six-pack abs in the film Pathaan. At 59 years old, the actor looks much younger than his age. Recently, he shared insights into his diet and lifestyle that help him stay fit and youthful.
In a conversation with RJ Devanggana, Shah Rukh revealed that he prefers simple meals. He typically eats two main meals a day—lunch and dinner—and avoids snacking. He said, “I naturally lean towards very basic food. I’m not fond of lavish or elaborate dishes. My meals usually include sprouts, grilled chicken, broccoli, and sometimes a small portion of dal. I’ve been eating like this for many years with little change.”
However, Shah Rukh is flexible when eating with others or while traveling. He added, “If I’m flying or at someone’s home, I eat whatever is served, whether it’s biryani, roti, parathas, or food cooked with ghee. I don’t restrict myself when sharing meals with others.”
Shah Rukh is known for his late-night routine. He prefers working at night and enjoys night shoots. “I usually go to bed around 5 AM. Just as Mark Wahlberg is starting his day, I’m finishing mine. On shooting days, I wake up around 9 or 10 in the morning. After coming home late, sometimes around 2 AM, I take a shower and work out before sleeping,” he explained.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next appear in King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan.
