Kory Phillips, the owner of Lovely Bodies Health & Fitness, is celebrating 14 years in the fitness industry with a milestone event that reflects both his impact and success. Known on social media as IAmTheKingOfFitness, Phillips marked the occasion with a two-day celebration that began with a lively boot scootin’ line dancing class. The second day featured his signature Revenge Body workout, a calorie-burning session that promises to help participants shed over 1,000 calories.
Phillips’ unique approach to fitness, combining rigorous training routines with motivational coaching, has earned him a loyal client base and nearly 400,000 followers on Instagram. His clients consistently praise the effectiveness of his workouts, and his before-and-after photos serve as a testament to the transformations facilitated through his program.
Breanka Thomas, a line dance instructor who has been part of the community, recalls her first visit to the gym. “I went to the gym and fell in love. All the women from the page were there with the same results, lifting 50-60 pound weights, which was amazing,” she said.
Phillips’ impact extends beyond his gym. For 13 years, his team at Lovely Bodies has made a concerted effort to give back to the community, providing weekly meals to those in need. This philanthropic tradition continues even as his brand grows.
After opening his gym in Shreveport, Phillips expanded to Atlanta, where he built a reputation as a celebrity personal trainer. His clientele now includes a wide range of individuals, from social media influencers like Kai Cenat to business figures like Angela Simmons, as well as musicians and fitness fans.
In response to growing demand, Lovely Bodies Health & Fitness now offers virtual fitness classes, allowing participants to join the workouts remotely from the Shreveport studio.
