NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Kenny’s Meals, a health-focused food store from New Jersey, was set to open its doors in Newtown on Sunday, June 1. The new location at 32 South State Street will celebrate with a grand opening event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will feature a live DJ, free samples of the meals, big giveaways, and fresh ready-to-eat dishes. “There will be good vibes, healthy eats, loud beats, and a celebration you don’t want to miss,” said Kenny’s Meals. “Let’s celebrate health, hustle, and hometown flavor — come hungry and bring the crew.”
Owned by Kenny Garcia, the brand began as a personal mission to promote healthy eating after Garcia faced kidney failure at age 25. His experience on dialysis inspired him to focus on nutritious, whole-food meals. “These experiences laid the foundation for Kenny’s Meals,” Garcia explains.
Kenny’s Meals offers over 35 meal options, including hibachi steak, bourbon chicken, and jerk chicken, all priced at \$9.25 each. The meals cater to a variety of goals, whether customers want to lose weight, build muscle, or maintain a healthy diet. The company already operates stores in Marlton and Lawrence, New Jersey.
In 2021, Garcia’s cousin Doris donated a kidney to him, a generous act that reinforced his belief in the power of family and nourishment. “Kenny’s Meals isn’t just about food; it’s about nurturing both body and soul,” he says. “We believe you are what you eat, and it’s important to nourish yourself with the best foods.”
The new Newtown location aims to bring healthy, convenient meals to the community with the same passion and dedication that started the business.
