Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a federal trial over sex trafficking and racketeering charges. During the proceedings, his former assistant, David James, testified about Combs’ heavy drug use. James said Combs took ecstasy pills shaped like former President Barack Obama’s face. He recalled finding 25 to 30 pill bottles in Combs’ toiletry bag while staying in hotels. The bag reportedly contained drugs such as Percocet, Viagra, and weight loss supplements.
Experts say that pills shaped like celebrities have become more common since 2015. A cybercrime investigator told RadarOnline that these pills, featuring faces like Obama, Donald Trump, and Taylor Swift, are sold widely on the dark web. Dealers use celebrity images as branding to market dangerous drugs. The pills often contain harmful substances, including bleach and glass, making them deadly.
Another expert noted that pills with famous faces often carry names like “Obama Hope,” “Presidential Power,” or “Make America High Again.” While users might find these names ironic or funny, dealers are indifferent to the risks, caring little if buyers survive.
Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, Combs’ former partner, also testified in the trial. She described Combs as an addict who needed recovery and said his withdrawal caused irritability. Ventura alleged she was forced into “freak-offs,” long sexual encounters with male sex workers, while under the influence of drugs like ecstasy and GHB. She said some of these sessions lasted up to three days. When asked during cross-examination if Combs ever overdosed, Ventura confirmed he had. She also admitted to struggling with addiction herself.
The trial also revealed allegations about a drug culture among Combs’ staff involving “pink cocaine,” or “tuci,” a mix of MDMA and ketamine. This synthetic drug is linked to serious health risks like seizures and cardiac arrest. A lawsuit from producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones claims Combs required employees—housekeepers, chefs, and butlers—to carry various drugs. The complaint adds that when Combs wanted tuci, his assistant would contact rapper Yung Miami to bring the drug on a private jet.
These testimonies and allegations have brought intense scrutiny to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lifestyle, highlighting a pattern of drug use and control linked to his personal and professional circles.
