The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 resumed on Saturday, May 17, after a 10-day break. However, the restart did not go as expected, with the match involving Royal Challengers Bengal facing some issues.
Fans are hopeful for a full return to action on Sunday, May 18, when two matches are scheduled. In Jaipur’s intense heat, the Rajasthan Royals will host the Punjab Kings.
Ahead of the game, India wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson announced that he has passed his fitness test and will be available to play against Punjab Kings.
Speaking about his recent absence, Samson said, “Frustrating is definitely the right word. It has been very difficult and challenging to watch the games from the dugout. I missed many crucial matches, which made it even tougher.”
