McDonald’s India (North & East) has named Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as its new brand ambassador. To mark the partnership, the company has introduced The Ranveer Singh Meal, a limited-time menu featuring the actor’s favorite McDonald’s items. This launch is part of McDonald’s global Famous Orders campaign.
The meal, available from June 13, offers customers a choice between two burgers—McVeggie® (Xplode) or McChicken® (Xplode)—along with Golden Pop Fries and a Bobaaa drink. Both burgers include a new chilli and creamy Xplode sauce topped with golden crispy onions, enhancing their flavor and texture.
Anant Agarwal, vice-chairperson of Connaught Plaza Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. (CPRL), which operates McDonald’s in North and East India, said Ranveer Singh represents the brand’s vibrant and joyful spirit. He added that the collaboration reflects the deep emotional connection fans have with McDonald’s, sharing moments of joy and nostalgia. Agarwal expressed excitement about welcoming Singh to the McDonald’s family and launching a meal that appeals to people of all ages—from youth and millennials to families.
Ranveer Singh shared his enthusiasm about the role, saying he is thrilled to join McDonald’s India (North & East) as brand ambassador. He said McDonald’s has always been a favorite for many, including himself. Singh said he is excited to have his own meal to share with his fans, describing it as full of flavor and fun. He called it special to have a McDonald’s meal named after him and looks forward to fans trying it.
With this launch, Singh joins other global celebrities like BTS, Kartik Aaryan, and Travis Scott, who have previously partnered with McDonald’s on similar meal offerings.
