Revo Fitness is set to open 14 new gyms across Victoria, more than doubling its presence in the state. Central to this expansion is the planned takeover of eight Crunch Fitness locations, which will increase Revo’s total Victorian gyms to 22.
The company also plans to open 15 more clubs nationwide over the next year. This will raise Revo’s total number of locations across Australia from 56 to 85 by the end of 2026.
This growth supports Revo’s goal of reaching 100 gyms by 2027. The company started 13 years ago with a single gym in Shenton Park, Western Australia, founded by Andrew Holder, who now leads this expansion.
New gyms will open in Nunawading, Ballarat, Bayswater North, Footscray, Epping, Hoppers Crossing, Highpoint, Richmond, Chadstone, Springvale, Mentone, and three other locations yet to be announced.
The Crunch Fitness gyms will be rebranded and fully refurbished in the coming months. Members will gain 24/7 access to twice as many sites in Victoria. The upgraded gyms will also include Revo’s boutique space, The Studio, which offers self-run, on-demand reformer Pilates, massage chairs, and recovery equipment.
Holder said, “Our team is excited to bring the Revo Fitness experience—designed with input from our members—to more communities across Australia. We look forward to working with the talented Crunch team and their members.”
Crunch Fitness Australia CEO Selena Afeaki said the partnership aligns with Crunch’s focus on expanding in New South Wales and rolling out its new Crunch 3.0 model in Australia and New Zealand. She added, “Revo Fitness understands the importance of serving local communities. Both brands share a strong community focus, and this collaboration creates new opportunities for our teams and members.”
Revo’s growth reflects rising demand for affordable, premium fitness with straightforward memberships. The company believes all Australians deserve access to quality fitness experiences and approaches its expansion with the same member-first focus it began with 13 years ago.
Known for its ‘you grow as we grow’ philosophy, Revo supports local communities with each new gym. It sponsors grassroots clubs like Bentleigh Greens Football Club and South East Melbourne Netball Club, and at the elite level, it partners with the Melbourne Mavericks Super Netball team.
Holder emphasized the company’s community commitment, saying, “As we welcome Crunch members and staff to Revo, we aim to support the organizations that matter most to them.”
Beyond Victoria, Revo is also expanding in Western Australia with at least eight new gyms and in South Australia with six new clubs planned over the next year.
