Indian rapper Badshah has stunned fans with his recent physical transformation. The 39-year-old artist, known for chartbusters like DJ Waley Babu and Genda Phool, revealed a leaner physique in a poolside photo posted on Instagram. Dressed in sunglasses and an open shirt, his slimmer look sparked a wave of admiration and curiosity across social media.
While many speculated that his transformation involved weight loss drugs like Ozempic, Badshah addressed the rumors directly. Speaking publicly, he confirmed he did not use any medication and credited his weight loss to consistent lifestyle changes and discipline.
Badshah’s decision to get fit began during the COVID-19 lockdown. Appearing on Shilpa Shetty’s wellness show, he shared that he struggled with breathlessness just 15 minutes into his live shows. “My work involves me moving around for 120 minutes,” he said. This realization, combined with a diagnosis of sleep apnea, made him aware of how much his weight was affecting his health.
Previously, the rapper tried restrictive diets, but found them exhausting and ineffective in the long term. This time, he chose a more balanced approach, focusing on portion control rather than food elimination.
Badshah started eating smaller, more frequent meals and paid close attention to his serving sizes. To avoid overeating, he used smaller plates, maintained a fixed meal schedule, and avoided skipping meals. When eating out, he often shared dishes to keep his portions in check.
He prioritized eating protein at the start of each meal to boost satiety and naturally reduce his carbohydrate intake. Breakfast became his largest meal of the day to stabilize his energy and hunger throughout the day.
His diet also included a variety of fiber-rich foods such as leafy vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. He added resistant starch—found in legumes and slightly undercooked pasta—to help regulate blood sugar levels.
Instead of high-calorie snacks, Badshah switched to healthier options like a small handful of nuts or fresh salads made with tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage, and sometimes roasted seeds or avocado. He also drank two glasses of water 30 minutes before meals to reduce appetite and prevent overeating.
These steady lifestyle adjustments led to a weight loss of over 20 kilograms. His wardrobe evolved as well—from baggy streetwear to more tailored, fashion-forward outfits that better suit his new frame.
Fans flooded his Instagram post with comments like “Bhai itna slim kaise hogaya… tips dedo” and “AP Dhillon ka copy lag raha hai,” comparing his new look to the popular singer.
At 39, Badshah’s transformation stands as a powerful example of how small, consistent choices—not quick fixes—can lead to major health changes.
