Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has shared updates on the fitness of two key players ahead of their upcoming match.
The team is set to return to action tomorrow evening with a local derby against Espanyol.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Flick addressed the current fitness status of his squad.
Pau Cubarsí, who had to leave early during the recent El Clásico, is doing well. Flick said, “Cubarsí is fine. He hasn’t finished training yet, but he will be able to play tomorrow.”
Robert Lewandowski, who was on the bench last weekend as he continues to recover from a muscle injury, is also ready to start. Flick confirmed, “Robert Lewandowski is fine, ready to play.”
