For years, Coca-Cola and Pepsi have dominated the soda market, with many Americans debating which brand is better. However, this year’s rankings show some shifts. Sprite, owned by Coca-Cola, has moved ahead of Pepsi to claim the third spot among the top-selling sodas.
Regular Coca-Cola remains the most popular soda in the US, holding the number one position once again. Dr. Pepper has risen to second place, overtaking Pepsi, which has fallen to fourth place behind Sprite.
Dr. Pepper’s rise began in 2023 when it first surpassed Pepsi to become the second best-selling soda. This trend continued into 2024, confirming Dr. Pepper’s growing popularity.
