Thousands of food and nutrition experts from around the world will gather in Nashville, Tennessee for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ 2025 Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE).
Deanne Brandstetter, president of the Academy and a registered dietitian nutritionist, said the event offers four days of education, networking, and collaboration. She announced that chef, author, and television host Carla Hall will deliver the opening keynote address at FNCE 2025.
Carla Hall, a trained chef known for her philosophy to “always cook with love,” rose to fame as a contestant on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and “Top Chef: All Stars.” She co-hosted ABC’s Emmy-winning show “The Chew” for seven years and currently hosts “Chasing Flavors” on Max. Hall also serves as a judge on Food Network competition shows, including “Harry Potter: The Wizards of Baking” and various holiday baking championships.
Brandstetter said the theme for FNCE 2025 is “Feed Your Passion” and that Hall’s energy and enthusiasm for food will inspire attendees. She added that, having worked in culinary nutrition herself, she looks forward to Hall’s remarks.
Hall was recently honored with the Grande Dame lifetime achievement award by Les Dames d’Escoffier, recognizing her extraordinary contributions to food, beverage, and hospitality.
The Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo brings together registered dietitian nutritionists, dietetic technicians, researchers, healthcare providers, policy experts, and industry leaders. Attendees will engage in presentations on the latest nutrition science, panel discussions, and poster sessions.
