The Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Institutions will host the third International Conference on Yoga and Naturopathy at SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences in Ujire, near Dharmasthala, from May 12 to 16.
Prashanth Shetty, the college principal, announced the event during a press briefing in Ujire on Wednesday. The conference, which is being organized in collaboration with the Indian Naturopathy and Yoga Graduate Medical Association and the Union Ministry of Ayush, will focus on the theme “The Human Body Has Immunity and Back to Nature.”
The conference will explore the application of naturopathy and yoga through research and scientific methods. It will also include exhibitions, discussions, dialogues with senior students, cultural competitions, and sports activities, Shetty explained.
Dr. Shivaprasad Shetty, the chief medical officer of SDM Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital, added that around 300 delegates and over 10,000 students are expected to attend the conference.
