Amy Childs has revealed she is suffering from a mysterious illness that has left her in severe pain and unable to get out of bed.

The 34-year-old TOWIE star shared her struggles on Instagram stories after surprising fans with a recent two stone weight loss. She described experiencing intense stomach cramps, a high temperature, and nausea.

Despite her health issues, Amy continues to document her fitness journey. She posted a recent dinner consisting of two chicken breasts, roast potatoes, broccoli, and coleslaw. Her typical daily meals include poached eggs and avocado for breakfast, with goat’s cheese salad or jacket potato with cheese for lunch.

Last year, Amy told Closer magazine she follows a strict diet during the week but allows herself takeaways on weekends. She has also shared previous meal plans featuring pancakes, nachos, and chicken pie, emphasizing she has never eaten so much in her life while trying to lose weight after the birth of her first child, Polly.

In a recent Instagram post, Amy questioned whether she might have food poisoning due to her symptoms. She wrote, “Guys I have been up all night. I have been freezing cold, boiling hot, and I haven’t stopped being sick. The cramps have been so painful I can’t physically get out of bed. I have never been in this kind of pain.”

Amy has also addressed concerns from fans about her dramatic weight loss. She credited her fitness coach for her progress and denied using any weight-loss injections.

Sharing photos in a pink minidress, Amy said she felt like a princess but acknowledged fans’ worries. Many urged her to take care of herself and stop losing weight, saying she looks different and too thin.

The mother of four previously revealed she struggled to lose weight after the birth of her twins Milly and Billy in April 2022. She also has daughter Polly, eight, and son Ritchie, five.

Amy described her weight loss journey as a gradual process. She followed a meal plan and trained up to three times a week, including reformer Pilates, which she enjoys for toning. She said she still enjoys weekends with some Prosecco but emphasized that her results took months and were not a quick fix.

“Then if I can do it you 1000 percent can do it too,” Amy said. “I never thought I would feel confident uploading pictures of me, especially in swimwear, but I have to remember that I have had four children, so I should be very proud of how far I’ve come.”
