Adnan Sami Lost 120 Kg Without Surgery on No Bread Rice Sugar or Oil Diet

Singer and composer Adnan Sami has undergone an extraordinary transformation, shedding 120 kg to drop from 230 kg to 110 kg. He attributed this significant weight loss to a complete change in lifestyle. On the June 1 episode of *Aap Ki Adalat*, Sami openly discussed this important phase of his life and revealed the key factors behind his inspiring fitness journey.

When asked whether he had undergone any surgery to lose weight, Adnan addressed common rumors. “There has been a lot of speculation,” he said. “Some said I had bariatric surgery, others thought I had liposuction.” He explained liposuction as a procedure that removes fat from specific areas but joked, “At 230 kg, I would have needed a vacuum cleaner to remove all that fat!”

He firmly denied having either liposuction or bariatric surgery. Instead, Sami credited his weight loss to a strict high-protein diet prescribed by his nutritionist. “No bread, no rice, no sugar, no oil, no alcohol,” he said. Following this disciplined plan helped him steadily lose weight over time.

Adnan also shared what kept him motivated. At the start, he saw quick results and lost 20 kg in the first month, which boosted his confidence. He recalled a memorable moment in a mall when he spotted a T-shirt in XL size. “I was 9XL at the time, and my mom said even my arm wouldn’t fit in that shirt,” he joked. That shirt became a symbol of his goal.

“Whenever I lost some weight, I would try on that shirt, sometimes two or three times a night,” he said. “One day, I finally fit into it perfectly. It was around 3 a.m., and I called my father, jumping with happiness.” He also noticed small but meaningful changes, like seeing his knuckles for the first time in years.

Summing up his journey, Adnan said, “This is how I lost weight — through a lot of hard work. There is no shortcut in life.”
